About The Artist

Stephanie Costa is a local artist and photographer who was born and raised in Dartmouth Massachusetts. Stephanie has had a passion for the arts her whole life, but began honing in on her craft as a photographer when she was a teenager. After graduating from Dartmouth High School in 2006, Stephanie began traveling and taking pictures in places like Portugal, France, and Canada. However, she soon realized that her favorite places of inspiration came from her very own backyard of Southcoast Massachusetts. Now, she enjoys photographing the beautiful local scenic spots the most.

Stephanie hopes that Stephanies Art Works will be a place for the community to come in and admire the stunning local scenery. Some of the locations used in the photography at Stephanies Art Works are Padanaram Harbor, Round Hill Beach, and Downtown New Bedford. In Stephanie’s free time, she enjoys listening to music and spending time with her family, in particular her niece and nephew. After years of focusing on photography, Stephanie began broadening her horizons as an artist and is now currently using her inspiration of street art to create new art pieces. Her recent experimental art includes the usage of unique materials such as resin, combined with different paint mediums. While she hopes that these pieces will provide something different for the Southcoast Community, Stephanie will continue to utilize her signature photography skills of capturing all of her favorite local hot spots.
